"Leapfrog," a life-size bronze sculpture, was commissioned by the FAA and gifted to the city of Fairfield. Installed on the lawn of the Carnegie Museum Building, the piece captures the joyful energy of three children engaged in a game of leapfrog. One boy leans forward with his hands on his knees, while another child, with her hands on the first boy’s back, leaps over him. A third child, a girl, stands nearby with her hands on her knees, eagerly waiting for her turn to be leaped over.
This playful and dynamic public sculpture has become a beloved monument in Fairfield, often serving as a reference point for locals. The artwork embodies the carefree spirit of childhood, while also representing community, connection, and the timeless nature of simple, joyful play.
